East Central Clinton County in south central Illinois... * Until 430 PM CDT. * At 356 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Shattuc, or 8 miles east of Carlyle, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This tornado will be near... Shattuc around 405 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by the tornado include Ferrin and Huey.
