Description:
Gusty east to southeasterly winds are expected through the early
afternoon as an area of rain continues to shift eastward into
portions of central and eastern Illinois. Occasional gusts between
40 to 50 mph can be expected.
Use extra caution if traveling, especially in high profile
vehicles. The strong winds could blow around loose objects and
bring down tree branches.
