Description:
At 1123 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Loami to Divernon to near Raymond.
Movement was northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Springfield, Taylorville, Pana, Chatham, Auburn, Sherman, Rochester,
Riverton, Pawnee, Kincaid, Williamsville, Harristown, Divernon,
Assumption, Blue Mound, Edinburg, Morrisonville, Stonington,
Illiopolis, and Loami.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 55 between mile markers 77 and 111.
Interstate 72 between mile markers 91 and 132.
