At 1015 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Pittsburg, or
near Marion, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Marion, Herrin, Carterville, Johnston City, Crainville, Cambria,
Energy, Hurst, Pittsburg, Creal Springs, Lake Of Egypt Area,
Stonefort, Freeman Spur, Bush, Whiteash, Williamson County Regional
Airport, Colp, and Spillertown.

Interstate 24 in Illinois near Mile Marker 1.
Interstate 57 in Illinois between Mile Markers 44 and 61.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for southern
Illinois.
