At 706 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Hitt to near Johnson-Sauk Trail State Park, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Sterling, Rock Falls, Morrison, Geneseo, Colona, Fulton, Prophetstown, Erie, Garden Plain, Milledgeville, Fairhaven, Albany, Tampico, Lyndon, Chadwick, Hooppole, Cleveland, Coleta, Deer Grove, and East Clinton. This includes the following highways... Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 6 and 9. Interstate 88 between mile markers 14 and 44.
