Description: 
At 705 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Tennessee to near Mendon, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Littleton, Huntsville, Camden, Doddsville, and Weinberg King State Park.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for west central Illinois. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. People outside should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from windows. To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in Lincoln.
