Mississippi River at Canton.
Mississippi River at Saverton.
Mississippi River at Winfield.
Mississippi River at Hannibal.
Mississippi River at Clarksville.
Mississippi River at Louisiana.
River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Mississippi River at Canton.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 15.6 feet, North Front Street and the first 2-3
campsites in Mississippi Park begin flooding at this height.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 16.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 6:00 AM CDT Sunday was 16.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.9 feet
early tomorrow afternoon.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
