* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and is forecasted to continue.
* WHERE...Des Plaines River from IL/WI state line downstream to
US-41 in Gurnee, including the Russell gauge.
* WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, low-lying wetlands and agricultural land is
inundated near the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 PM CDT Thursday, the stage was 7.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to below flood stage
sometime this weekend.
- Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
