Pecatonica River near Shirland affecting Winnebago County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and forecasted to continue. * WHERE...Pecatonica River from Winnebago County line downstream to confluence with the Rock River, including the Shirland gauge. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Structures threatened at Rivers Edge Campground east of Shirland. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 14.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is currently cresting, and will begin falling tomorrow morning. The river is not expected to fall below Flood Stage through at least the end of the week. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
