...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Illinois...
Des Plaines River near Gurnee affecting Lake IL County.
Des Plaines River near Russell affecting Lake IL County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and forecasted to continue.
* WHERE...Des Plaines River from US-41 in Gurnee downstream to
Townline Road in Vernon Hills, including the Gurnee gauge.
* WHEN...Until early Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Kilbourne Road and Emerald Avenue are
threatened near Grand Avenue in Gurnee.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river level is expected to continue gradually
falling over the next few days, and fall below flood stage
early next week.
- Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
