At 940 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicates that moderate to heavy rain continues to fall across the area. Rainfall rates of 0.5 to 1.0 inches per hour continue across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Freeport, Lena, Stockton, Warren, Hanover, Pearl City, Elizabeth, Cedarville, Davis, Woodbine, Dakota, German Valley, Apple River, Winslow, Rock City, Ridott, Nora, Massbach, Schapville and Buena Vista.
