Description:
At 232 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Kendrick to Winchester. Movement was
northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Juliaetta, Culdesac, Kendrick, Reubens, Southwick, Gifford, and
Lenore.
This includes the following highways...
U.S. Highway 95 in Idaho between mile markers 280 and 295.
U.S. Highway 12 in Idaho between mile markers 16 and 34.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
