Description:
* WHAT...West winds 40 to 50 mph with gusts up to 90 mph possible.
* WHERE...The Rocky Mountain Front and adjacent foothills and
plains, and Eastern Glacier, Western Toole, and Central Pondera
Counties.
* WHEN...From 3 AM to 9 PM MDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...High winds will move loose debris and damage property.
Power outages are possible. Travel will be very difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles. Blowing dust may
significantly reduce visibility at times, especially along
Interstate 15 between Shelby and the Canadian border.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A cold front will move through Tuesday
afternoon and shut off the strong winds early Tuesday afternoon
for the Northern Rocky Mountain Front and adjacent plains west of
I-15.
Instruction:
Those operating high profile or light weight vehicles should
consider delaying or canceling travel.
People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around
or damaged by the wind.
