Description:
* WHAT...North winds of 20 to 30 kt with gusts to 35 kt with
very steep combined seas of 9 to 13 feet.
* WHERE...All areas. Strongest winds and highest seas are
expected during the afternoons and evenings. From Gold Beach
southward and beyond 5 NM from shore, occasional gale force
gusts to 40 kt are possible through Thursday evening.
* WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or
damage vessels. Bar crossings will become especially
treacherous.

Instruction:
Recreational boaters should remain in port. Commercial vessels
should prepare for very steep seas and consider remaining in port
until conditions improve.
