At 815 PM HST, radar and automated rain gauges continue showing heavy rain falling over Kauai at a rate of 1 to 3 inches per hour. Streams remain elevated with additional heavy showers expected to move in from the south. Hanalei Bridge is closed and ponding has been reported across the island. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flooding in drainages, streams, rivers, roads, properties, and other low-lying areas.
