Description:
At 628 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Statesboro, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Statesboro, Brooklet, Portal, Pulaski, Register, Georgia Southern,
Hopeulikit, Dover, Leefield and Statesboro Mall.
This includes I-16 near mile marker 115.
