At 800 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Leesburg. These storms were nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Leesburg, Albany, Putney, Smithville, East Albany, Marine Corps Logistics Base, Turner City, Walker, Warwick, Chokee, Radium Springs, Stocks, Forrester, Lockett Crossing, Sylvester Airport, South Albany, Southwest Ga Regional A/P, Palmyra, Red Rock, and Acree.
