Description:
At 416 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Du Pont, or 11 miles southeast of Lakeland. A strong thunderstorm was
nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph, penny size hail, and excessive
cloud-to-ground lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is occurring.
