Description:
At 345 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Augusta Regional Airport, or 8 miles southeast of Augusta, moving
southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Jackson, Augusta Regional Airport, Phinizy Swamp Nature Park,
Redcliffe Plantation State Historic Site, Audubon's Silver Bluff
Sanctuary, New Savannah Bluff Lock & Dam Park, Savannah River Site
Badge Office, and Beech Island.
