Description:
At 511 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles south of
Bobby Brown State Park, or 13 miles northeast of Washington, moving
southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines. This storm has had a
history of knocking down trees.

Lincolnton, Elijah Clark State Park, Hickory Knob State Resort Park,
Curry Hill, Loce, Gill's Point, Mount Carmel Park, Hester's Ferry
Campground, Chennault, Leroy's Ferry Recreation Area, New Hope, and
Mount Carmel.

building.
Severe thunderstorms can produce large capsizing waves and frequent
