...The National Weather Service in Peachtree City GA has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Georgia...
Little River at GA 5 near Woodstock affecting Cherokee County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Little River at GA 5 near Woodstock.
* WHEN...From early this morning until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 11 feet, Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding will
occur in the woodlands and fields upstream and downstream from the
gage at Old Georgia Highway 5. A public boat ramp just downstream
and on the right bank from the bridge will be under one foot of
water. Low lying areas of the South Cherokee Recreation Park and
the soccer fields off Druw Cameron Drive will begin to flood.
