Description: 
At 543 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with torrential rainfall extending from Herndon and Rogers south to Thrift, Butts and Emmalane. As much as 4 to 6 inches of rain has fallen in some areas since 430 PM. An additional 1 to 3 inches could fall through 8 PM. Flash flooding is likely occurring or will occur shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Millen, Butts, Emmalane, Scarboro, Herndon, Four Points, Lincoln State Park, Thrift, Jenkins County Hospital and Rogers.
