At 644 PM EDT, Chatham County Emergency Management reported a few flooded roads in the Pooler area. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Pooler, Godley Station, Savannah International Airport, I-16/I-95 Interchange, Garden City, Port Wentworth, Bloomingdale, Meinhard, Monteith and Williams. Radar imagery indicates that rainfall continues to dwindle and significant additional rainfall amounts are not expected. A few flooded roads are still ongoing around the Pooler area.
