...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED ACROSS PORTIONS OF
INLAND SOUTHEAST GA THIS AFTERNOON...
* AFFECTED AREA...In Georgia, Coffee, Jeff Davis and Atkinson.
* TIMING...This afternoon for the Red Flag Warning and Monday
afternoon and evening for the Fire Weather Watch.
* WINDS...Today Northwest to north 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to
30 mph. Monday, northeast up to 10 to 15 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Today in the lower to mid 20s. For Monday,
as low as 14 percent.
* TEMPERATURES...Today, lower to mid 70s, and Monday in the upper
70s around 80.
* IMPACTS...Existing or newly ignited wildfires may exhibit
erratic fire behavior, spread rapidly and become difficult to
contain or suppress.
