Description:
At 933 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms centered over Citra, moving north at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 to 45 mph, frequent lightning, and
minor flooding due to heavy rainfall.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor flooding due to heavy rainfall is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Fort McCoy, Citra, Hawthorne, Sparr, Cross Creek, Orange Springs,
Micanopy, Reddick, McIntosh, and Hog Valley.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
