At 357 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a funnel cloud near Immokalee, moving southwest at 10 mph. HAZARD...Funnel clouds, wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph, and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Funnel clouds occasionally touch down and produce tornadoes or waterspouts. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Ave Maria, Immokalee, Big Corkscrew Island, Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, Bunker Hill, and Lake Trafford.
