Description:
At 349 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms centered over Orange Heights, or 7 miles west of
Melrose, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 40 to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Keystone Heights, Melrose, Orange Heights, Lake Geneva, Gainesville
Airport, Waldo, Hampton, and Putnam Hall.
Instruction:
