At 513 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles north of Auburndale, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Lakeland, Winter Haven, Haines City, Auburndale, Lake Alfred, Dundee,
Davenport, Polk City, Lake Hamilton, Loughman, and Winter Haven
Airport.
