Description:
At 449 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm over Atlantis, or over Boynton Beach, moving
east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Lake Worth, Ocean Ridge, Greenacres,
Lantana, Atlantis, Village Of Golf, Dunes Road, Hypoluxo, South Palm
Beach, Gulf Stream, Briny Breezes, Seminole Manor, and Lake Worth
Corridor.
Instruction:
These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.
