Description:
At 627 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms
centered about 8 miles north of Taylor, or 17 miles south of Stephen
Foster State Park, moving southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 to 45 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Taylor and St. George.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
