a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Wisconsin...
Baraboo River At Rock Springs affecting Sauk County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Baraboo River at Rock Springs.
* WHEN...From this evening to early tomorrow afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, The river is well out of its banks and
floodwaters affect a low spot on Highway DD in Rock Springs. Farm
fields are flooded in the Loganville area.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 18.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 13.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday was 19.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.0
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage tomorrow morning.
- Flood stage is 18.5 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
19.1 feet on 03/17/2007.
