Kickapoo River at Soldiers Grove affecting Crawford County.
.The Kickapoo River continues to slowly recede. Flood warnings
remain for both Steuben and Gays Mills. Meanwhile, the Flood Warning
has been cancelled at Soldiers Grove.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Kickapoo River at Gays Mills.
* WHEN...Until early Thursday morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 14.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:00 AM CDT Tuesday was 14.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 14.3 feet this evening. It
will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon to
9.1 feet Saturday morning. It will rise to 9.7 feet early
Sunday morning. It will then fall again and remain below
flood stage.
