* WHAT...Flooding caused by high water and heavy ice runs continues. * WHERE...Mountain Village. * WHEN...Until 100 AM AKDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is expected or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1004 PM AKDT, reports indicate that water levels are continuing to rise following several feet of rise on Saturday. - The breakup front remains located downriver of Mountain Village. It is moving slowly into the remaining in-place ice. Plenty of high water is still pushing down the river from the jam near Holy Cross a few days ago. As the surge of high water moves downstream, it is causing flooding in several communities along the Yukon. - For Yukon River at Pilot Station: At 7:45pm the stage was 33.5 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/aprfc
