* WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam is occurring. * WHERE...Yukon River at Marshall and nearby Low Lying Areas Adjacent To The Yukon River, Sloughs, Tributaries And Wetlands. * WHEN...Until the ice jam releases * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1238 PM AKDT, The River Watch team reported an ice jam about 8 miles downstream of Marshall on the Yukon River. This jam has been causing water to rise in areas upstream of the jam including Marshall. Water levels may continue to rise until the jam releases. - Please take appropriate action to move boats, vehicles and other belongings to higher ground. - http://www.weather.gov/aprfc
