Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Along Rio Grande de Manati.
* WHEN...Until 345 AM AST.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 953 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Flooding
is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Rio Grande de Manati is likely to be overflowed over PR-2, km
51 to 52 from Barceloneta eastward to Manati.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
