Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Oklahoma, including
the following counties, in east central Oklahoma, Pontotoc and
Seminole. In southeast Oklahoma, Hughes.
* WHEN...Until 1015 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 417 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated range gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is
ongoing in the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain
have fallen. While the heaviest rainfall has ended, light to
moderate rainfall is ongoing and it will take time for the
water to recede.

Seminole, Holdenville, Wewoka, Wetumka, Bowlegs, Calvin,
Stuart, Lamar, Sasakwa, Horntown, Yeager, Atwood, Spaulding
and Lima.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
