...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Ohio...
Sandusky River At Tiffin affecting Seneca County.
Huron River Near Milan affecting Erie County.
For the Sandusky River...including Upper Sandusky, Fremont, Tiffin,
Bucyrus...Moderate flooding is forecast.
For the Huron River...including Milan...Moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Sandusky River at Tiffin.
* WHEN...Until late tonight.
* IMPACTS...At 10.5 feet, Flooding occurs along the Sandusky River
near Route 53 north of U.S. 224. Flood waters will also cause
Township Road 131 to become impassable. In town Water Street,
Front Street, and Davis Street are inundated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 10.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.6
feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
this evening.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
10.6 feet on 01/14/2005.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
