...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers...
Scioto River at Circleville.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Scioto River at Circleville.
* WHEN...Through early Sunday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...at stages near 16 feet, lowland flooding continues along
the river and about one foot of water can be expected along
portions of Island Road.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:45 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 15.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is now above flood stage, and will
continue to rise to a crest of 15.6 feet this afternoon. It
will then fall below flood stage by early Sunday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
