* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Cayuga Creek near Lancaster.
* WHEN...Until late this morning.
* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Flood stage, minor flooding in low lying
areas of Lancaster and Alden.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:30 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 8.1 feet and falling.
- Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 4:30 AM EDT Wednesday was 9.73 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early this morning, and continue to fall below 6 feet by this
evening.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
8.1 feet on 03/15/2007.
