Warning for the following rivers in New York...
Black Creek at Churchville affecting Monroe and
Genesee Counties.
For the Black Creek...including Black Creek at Churchville...Minor
flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Black Creek at Churchville.
* WHEN...From late Wednesday night to Thursday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 6.0 feet, Flood stage, more widespread agricultural
land flooding, some backyard and basement flooding Churchville to
Chili but minimal damages.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 4.01 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Thursday morning to a crest of 6.1 feet Thursday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 6.0 feet.
