Manistee River near Sherman affecting Wexford County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Manistee River near Sherman.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Flooding begins around the Wilderness
Canoe livery along left bank of river just downstream of M-37
bridge.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 14.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
after midnight tonight and continue rising to a crest of 15.3
feet early Saturday morning.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
15.3 feet on 04/15/2001.
