* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Saint Joseph River Ohio near Newville.
* WHEN...Until Friday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Significant flooding occurs on DeKalb
County Road 42 about 3 miles northeast of Newville. Considerable
agricultural and low land flooding occurs along the St. Joseph
River to the Cedarville Reservoir.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:25 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 14.3 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:25 AM EDT Tuesday was 14.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Thursday evening and continue falling to 8.9 feet Sunday
morning.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
