Saint Joseph River Michigan at South Bend affecting St. Joseph, Elkhart and Berrien Counties. .Recent heavy rainfall has caused rises in rivers and has sent some river flooding. Although little if any additional rainfall is expected, drainage from earlier heavy rains will continue to cause river flooding over several rivers. For the Kankakee River...including Davis...Minor flooding is forecast. For the Saint Joseph River Michigan...including South Bend...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Kankakee River at Davis. * WHEN...From late tonight to early Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Flooding of low lying agricultural areas begins. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 PM EDT Saturday /9:00 PM CDT Saturday/ the stage was 9.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 10.5 feet tomorrow evening.
