Description: 
At 948 AM HST, radar indicated that heavy showers and thunderstorms have decreased in coverage and intensity, with the heaviest rain falling at a rate of up to 1 inch per hour over southeast Molokai. While water levels have lowered in at Kawela Gulch and Halawa Stream, emergency management reports that Kamehameha V Highway remains hazardous for travel east of Kaunakakai at Kapaakea Loop. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flooding in drainages, streams, rivers, roads, properties, and other low-lying areas. Public road closures possible in some areas. Landslides are possible in steep terrain. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... the entire island of Molokai.
