Description: 
At 1116 AM HST, rainfall has diminished in intensity over southeast Molokai, though radar indicated continued showers falling at rates of up to 1 inch per hour. Gages at Kawela Gulch and Halawa Stream are showing a slow decline in water levels, but flash flooding is likely continuing across portions of southeast Molokai. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flooding in drainages, streams, rivers, roads, properties, and other low-lying areas. Public road closures possible in some areas. Landslides are possible in steep terrain. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Pukoo, Ualapue, Kamalo, Halawa Valley, Kawela and Kalaupapa National Park.

Stay away from streams, rivers, drainage ditches, and culverts, even if they are currently dry.
