...Critical Fire Weather Conditions Possible Wednesday...
.Near record to record high temperatures and very low relative
humidity readings (around 10 percent) are expected across the
majority of the area on Wednesday. Critical fire weather
conditions are possible in southwest Nebraska, where light west to
northwest winds may occasionally gust up to 25 mph.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 079 Dundy, 080 Hitchcock
and 081 Red Willow.
* TIMING...From Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening.
* WINDS...West to Northwest at 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25
mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent.
* IMPACTS...Unpredictable fire behavior. Any fires that develop
may rapidly grow and spread out of control.
