At 635 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
New Preston, or near New Milford, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
New Milford, Thomaston, Litchfield, Northwest Harwinton, Oakville,
New Preston, Terryville, Watertown, Plymouth, Harwinton, Bethlehem,
Washington, Morris, Warren, Bantam, Hotchkissville, Haight Vineyard,
Pequabuck, Reynolds Bridge, and Lower Merryall.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
