Description:
At 458 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Southbury, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
New Haven, Waterbury, Meriden, Wallingford, Shelton, Naugatuck,
Southbury, Newtown, Hamden, Cheshire, Branford, North Haven, Monroe,
Seymour, and North Branford.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
