At 922 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Fahnestock State Park to near West Point
to near Vernon Valley. Movement was east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Waterbury, Danbury, New City, Naugatuck, Newburgh, Ossining,
Peekskill, Southbury, Monsey, Haverstraw, Mount Kisco, Mahopac,
Monroe, Lake Carmel, and West Point.
