Dutchess County in east central New York... * Until 700 PM EDT. * At 558 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Pleasant Valley, or near Poughkeepsie, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Torrington, Poughkeepsie, New Milford, New Paltz, Pawling, Hyde Park, Pleasant Valley, Thomaston, Wappingers Falls, Amenia, Kent, Sharon, Highland, Fishkill, Millbrook, Litchfield, Northwest Harwinton, Stanfordville, Woodbury Center, and Hopewell Junction.
